Burghound: 2013 Reuling Vineyard Pinot Noir Scores 91 Points

2013 Pinot Noir – Sonoma Coast: (made from three clones with 30-60% whole cluster for each, 475 cases, SRP $70, 14%). A notably ripe and floral-suffused nose features notes of liqueur-like plum and cassis scents that are trimmed in attractive spice nuances. There is solid mid-palate concentration to the seductively textured medium-bodied flavors that possess a sleek mouth feel before culminating in a dusty, complex and well-balanced finale that is borderline robust. I like the delivery and this should be capable of rewarding 7 to 10 years of development and will need at least 5 to 6.
